Collection and Recycling of Used cooking Oils and fats

Our company implements integrated programs for the collection and recycling of used cooking oils and fats which come from restaurants, food chains, takeaway outlets, shopping malls and food manufacturers. Our service includes collection, transfer and disposal of the cooking oil to a processing facility so it can be turned into bio-fuels, supporting in this way renewable sources of energy and reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

The company operates systems for the collection and management of used edible oils and fats. This scheme aims at the recycling and energy development of the waste cooking oil, that otherwise causes environmental harm when rinsing procedures are used, creating serious problems of drainage and biological treatment in cities, when disposed as liquid waste.

Moreover, by using these for the production of biofuels, the recycled edible oils become again useful limiting the need for more fossil fuel (carbon, petroleum, natural gas) and reducing at the same time the environmental impact of these activities and dependence on fossil fuels.

Our company is fully compliant with the EU Waste Directives, Greek legislation and follows all the legal requirements for waste collection, transport and disposal ensuring our customers that their waste and recyclables are managed in a sustainable and environmental conscious way.
