Environmental Policy

Τhe primary objective of our Environmental Policy is the minimization of the environmental impact of our activities.

Our objectives are:

• Control and Reduction of GHG emissions, produced from our collection Vehicles.
• Energy Efficient use of resources (fuel consumption for the movement of the collection vehicles).
• Conservation of natural resources (water consumption).
• Noise Control produced by equipment and collection vehicles.
• Minimisation of fire risk
• Use of environmentally friendly technology and equipment, where feasible.

To achieve these objectives, the company SPIDER Evironmental Services SA:

• Has adopted an Environmental Management System in accordance with international standard ELOT 14001, which applies to all environmental aspects of operation. The Environmental Management System is monitored, maintained and improved through programmes of inspections, evaluations and reviews.
• Provides adequate resources for environmental management, expertise, appropriate equipment and trained, competent staff.
• Sets environmental targets, the implementation of which are reviewed and evaluated at regular intervals. Simultaneously, systematic measurements are made with the critical parameters and processes assessed, in order to eliminate or reduce any adverse environmental impacts.
